Steps

Draw the Ramp Outline
a. Choose either the "Rectangle" or "Polyline" tool to create the ramp outline.
b. Draw a closed polyline in__BN_Ramp
layer to define the foot print of the ramp on the floor. -
Indicate the Ramp Direction
a. Select the travel direction of the ramp as either "UP" or "DOWN".
b. Draw the Ramp Direction polyline in__BN_RampDirection
layer inside the ramp polyline that denotes the direction of movement of vehicles. -
Add the Ramp Entrance Slab Cut
a. Draw a closed polyline in__BN_RampEntranceSlabCut
layer on the ramp polyline that represents the slab cut at the ramp entrance.
Marking
- Click on the "Guided Marking" option in the ribbon to navigate to the marking section.
- Search for and select the "Ramp" node to begin metadata entry.

- VEHICULAR
- PEDESTRIAN
- RAMP FOR PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED

Drawing Conventions
- Ramps should be drawn within floor plans or at the plot level.
- For ramps in parking floors, ramp polylines should be within the parking outline.
- For ramps in habitable floors, ramp polylines should be within the BUA outline.
- Every ramp polyline should have a centerline.
- A ramp should be drawn within the floor plan only if it is present within the floor volume. Example: A ramp that provides access to Basement-2 from Basement-1 it should be drawn in Basement-2.
__BN_RampDirection
polylines must always be within the__BN_Ramp
Polyline and must be parallel to the Ramp Center Line.- For Ramps with Ramp Structure Type as "BUILTUP" and Ramp usage as "VEHICULAR", Ramp Entrance Slab Cut must be provided.
__BN_RampEntranceSlabCut
polyline should always be drawn upon the__BN_Ramp
polyline.
